An international company with headquarters in Switzerland and 50 offices worldwide is looking for a Finance Manager to join its team.


Company activities:

Special construction work in bridge and civil engineering, i.e. mainly post-tensioning of concrete structures, suspension of bridges and structures, handling of heavy lifts, technology of gradual bridge extensions, implementation of retaining walls with reinforced soil technology, earth anchors, etc. as a subcontractor of large construction companies in the area. VSL CZ operates on the Czech market and in Central and Eastern Europe. It has branches in Slovakia and Norway

Job description:

  • Responsibility for the finance and risk management of the company, including branches in Slovakia and Norway.
  • Reporting and presentation of financial data as required by the management.
  • Preparation of regular VSL CZ plans (annual plan + 2 updates)
  • Preparation of monthly financial controlling reports, management of project calculations
  • Providing statutory audit (cooperation with MAZARS)
  • Communication with external partners (banks, tax advisors, legal representatives)
  • Payroll. Relationship management
  • Foreign exchange risk management
  • Negotiation of bank guarantees, letters of credit and other products
  • Cash flow management
  • Work in POHODA system, SAP and Magnitude, C@ris, SAP BW applications 
  • The Finance Manager will work closely with the company's management, the Chief Accountant and the company assistant
Profil recherché

Basic requirements for the candidate:

  • Higher education (economics), possibly secondary school with relevant experience.
  • Independence and responsibility
  • Very good knowledge of AJ (daily communication with partners and parent companies), preferably knowledge of FJ
  • Knowledge and practical experience with CAS, IFRS (basics), SK an advantage
  • Experience with consolidation within an international group (according to IFRS)
  • Knowledge of Czech tax legislation, preferably knowledge of international tax regulations
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and Word
  • Ability to work as part of a team and willingness to learn new things
  • Loyalty, independence, reliability, interest in work
  • Diligence, analytical thinking, proactive approach to problem solving
